The Next Michael Phelps

We went over to our friends, BJ and Missy's, house the other night for dinner and to go swimming. It was way fun, and Madison's first time actually swimming. I decided that since she kicks her feet so much she would be a great swimmer. She actually really liked it.

Daddy and Madison hanging out in the hot tub.

Missy with the kids. (Isn't it crazy how much bigger Jack is than Madison?)

Madison and Jack holding hands, they pretty much love each other.

And here's my pretty girl in her overalls. What a sweetheart!

Main Street Water Park

So yesterday Beth and I took the kids over to the main street water park to play in the water because the weather is so amazing!

Madison and Mommy enjoying the water.

Madison wasn't too sure about the water. I think it was because the water was a little bit chilly, but she loved being outside.

Garrett loves taking Madison's binky and putting it in and out of her mouth. They are so funny together. Last night I went over to Beth's, and Madison was laying on the ground kicking her feet as usual and Garrett came and stood right in front of her and had her kick him. He was laughing so hard. It was hilarious. I wish I would have gotten a picture of that. They are so sweet.

So Madison looks more and more like her daddy everyday. I totally think she looks like Alan in this picture. I need to get one of the two of them together on here so you can compare.

Not much to say...

So I decided not to shave Madison's hair, but just to cut it. (sorry for some reason
this is getting underlined, but I don't know how to make it go away) This is the first cut I did, but I've done a couple more since then. It sticks straight out after she has a bath because it is so fine, but don't mind that. It looks sooo much better. Alan still doesn't think I should cut it, but he agrees that it looks better.

I couldn't resist posting this picture...(I have no idea why it's not underlining this, but it did up there, sorry) The color is kind of funny because I was messing with the color feature on my camera, but that smile is to die for. I love it!

I got the color to work in this picture, but not a smile. Someone was way more interesting than the camera I guess, but she's still cute.

So I found some sunglasses for Madison at Children's place. They were 2 for $5 by the way, (I thought they were a good deal), and I got the hat with an outfit. She was kind of amazed by the glasses, but she didn't try to take them off or anything. What a funny girl.

And this is Madison showing you how strong she is getting. She has been rolling over like crazy lately, but the moment I take out the camera she stops so I haven't been able to get it on camera yet, but here she is getting ready to roll over.

LITTLE girl!

So Madison had her 4 month appointment last Wednesday. She is just a little, little girl. She weighs 10 lbs. 7 oz. (which by the way my nephew JD was 10 lbs. 6 oz. when he was BORN! Sorry Chelle.) and is 23.5 inches long. For weight she is in the 2nd percentile and for height she is in the 21st. Her head is 15 inches around which is in the 5th percentile. It was kind of funny because I think my doctor was trying to calm my fears or something about her being so little, but I really don't worry because I know that she's healthy. I mean seriously look at those thunder thighs! Anyway so she is tiny, but oh so sweet.

I had to put this picture on here because I think she is just precious in this one.

This was Madison's Easter basket. She was super excited for the snickers especially.

Oh and by the way if you haven't seen Bedtime Stories, I strongly recommend it. It is a way cute show.

Should we cut her hair?

Look at that hair! In my opinion, I want to cut her hair just so it is all the same length. It is way long in front and on the top and short in the back...it's a reverse mullet pretty much. It is just always crazy and I think if we just shaved it shorter so it all looks the same it will look so much better and grow in a lot better. Alan thinks differently. He thinks that if we cut it she won't look like a girl anymore. But she has a bow and she wears pink just about every day of her life so she for sure will still look like a girl...in my opinion. So we want everyone else's opinions. I put a poll over on the side so you guys can vote and whatever you guys decide we will do.It will be up for a week. So please vote!

Rice Cereal

So Madison will be 4 months old next week! I know she is just growing like crazy. I thought maybe I would start her on rice cereal. Last night was the first time that we tried it and it was so funny. She didn't really know what to think. I don't even know that any of it got down, but that's okay. It was way funny.

She just tried to suck on the spoon, but she'll get used to it.

So on Madison's activity center there is a mirror. She will move all the way around to look at herself and just smile. It is so funny.
