So Madison has been threatening to crawl for a couple weeks now and finally on Tuesday she did it! She is getting better and better everytime. She's still really slow, but she's doing it! She will only do it if I put something on the ground that she really wants, like my phone or a book, but it's so fun! If I could figure out how to put a video on here of it I would, but I can't figure it out, so I just took a picture.

Happy Father's Day!
We had a very fun and busy day yesterday, but Madison and I started off by waking up at 6:00 to make Daddy breakfast.

This is how Madison looks when she is sitting at the table and doesn't get little bites. She gets very offended. (isn't her hair beautiful in the morning.)
So after breakfast would normally be the time when we would open Alan's Fathers Day presents, but because I'm Aubrey and I get way too excited, we opened them on Saturday...oops:) Madison and I got some new church socks and a shirt and tie for Alan (I figured we had to do that because that's what little kids get their daddies for Fathers day.) I also got Alan a book to learn French. (He said he wanted one of those...)
We all got ready for church and drove down to Moapa where my cousin was giving his farewell talk to leave on his mission. It was nice to see my dad's side of the family. I feel like it's been a really long time since I've seen them. (sorry I don't have any pictures, I forget I have my camera sometimes.)
After we left Moapa we came home and went to Alan's parents for dinner. Emma and Clint and their family are down for the week to go to Powell so we ate dinner with them last night.
This is Jaren (Emma's youngest) and Madison. They had a lot of fun playing with Madison. Aren't they adorable?
I pulled out these baby dolls at Alan's parents and it was funny because the dolls are seriously almost as big as Madison is. I think she enjoyed having someone her size to play with I set them in a circle and she just talked and talked to them. It was so funny.
So that was our father's day. I just want all the Dad's in our lives to know how much we love and appreciate all that they do for us! Happy Father's day!

What we've been up to...
I thought I would post about what we have been up to in our extremely busy lives. So here goes. We'll start with Madison since we all know she's the most interesting. :)
Madison enjoys eating, but even more so she enjoys making a mess of herself. I seriously think that she does it because she knows it stresses me out for her to have food in her hair, up her nose, all over her shirt, and anywhere else you can imagine. I try so hard to keep her clean, but she always seems to stick her hand or nose or something in the bowl of food. It's really fun!
Madison also enjoys bouncing in her jumperoo. She gets so excited when I say "bounca bounca bounca" she goes crazy and starts jumping so hard. It's way cute!
She is getting so close to crawling. She tries so hard, but just ends up going backwards or rolling over. She will get up on her hands and knees and rock back and forth, but she can't quite go yet. She ends up in predicaments like this quite often and yells for me to come save her. I just can't believe how fast she is growing up.
Madison enjoys playing with friends. She obviously can't really play yet, but she loves to watch other kids and gets so excited when they pay attention to her too! She is already my little social butterfly. This is my friend Lindsey's little boy Grahm. He'll be a year old this month. What cute kids!

All about her
We had Madison's 6 month checkup today. Are you ready? She weighs 11 lbs. 13 oz. that's the .72 percentile for her age. She's not even in the 1st percentile! Alan was like, so does that mean that 100 out of 100 babies her age are bigger than her. I guess that is what that means. She is 24.5 inches long. That is the 11th percentile. So for her size she is tall. She' s just my little little girl.
I have a friend whose baby is 2 days younger than Madison and my friend did a post just telling everything that her baby likes and dislikes, so I am going to steal her idea (Thanks Amanda) and do the same so I can remember what she is like right now.
Things Madison Likes:
Bouncing in her jumperoo.
Sitting up and playing with her toys.
Rolling around on the ground.
Being naked.
Being tickled.
Grabbing mom's hair.
Seeing herself in the mirror.
Being outside...doing anything outside.
Bathtime.
Fruit.
Dogs and cats.
Eating her brush.
Swinging.
Sitting in the front of the cart.
Things Madison doesn't like:
Being in her carseat.
Sitting still.
Vegetables.
Being held like a baby.
Being left alone.
Bows in her hair.
So there are a couple things about Madison, I will probably put more on here as I think of them. But you get the idea.
Clearing things up
So I think people are confused about my last post, but I didnt have much time to post, so I will explain it now. I tried Peas with Madison for the first time the other night and it was not a pretty picture. She was sooo mad! She thought it would be something yummy I was feeding her, but apparently it wasnt and she just looked at me like I was the meanest person in the world, spit out the peas, and started SCREAMING! So I got rid of the peas and got some applesauce, but she was way too mad to eat that so she just kept screaming. Finally I just pulled her out of the high chair stripped her down (she loves being naked) and laid her on the ground. She calmed down after a couple of minutes, but we for sure will not try peas again for awhile. So thats the story, sorry to be confusing. We have our 6 month check-up today so I will find out how big she is getting. Yay!

6 Months Old
Madison turns 6 months old tomorrow. I can't believe how much she has grown over the past 6 months. It is truly amazing to watch. Here are some pictures of the past 6 months.
